    excellent, thanks for that info, i didnt know if there are suitable for the display on the UE.

    for sure there'll be more coming, its just a quite lengthy task to do. i'll prob be doing them a bouquet at a time like i did with the ultimo picons.

    I've tried this on my Quad (OPENMIPS) and just can't get it to work

    You say "overwrite the xml in /usr/share/enigma2"
    There is no "skin_display220_no_picon.xml" file to overwrite. I pasted the files there anyway but it doesn't do anything.

    The only file I have which is simular is "skin_display96.xml"
    Should I rename the file?

    You also quote "only tested on VIX 3.0" I didn't think this was available yet?

    openmips must be different then
    yes im using vix 3.0, try renaming mine to yours.

    ive updated the lcd screen to show the picon now and a row of icons above it.
    there seemed to be alot of wasted space on the screen as alot of picons are narrow rectangles.

    along the top row you get the update icon, record icon, hd + dolby icons too.

    drop into /etc/enigma2 so it doenst get overwritten by online update

    I have VIX 3.0 and I put everything in this file to the usr/share/enigma2 and I lost everything on LCD now :-( Should I rename lcd_picons to something else or copy it in the same folder or something else. I can not get them to work on LCD.

    there is no need for a LCD picon pack for the Quad, it will use the standard picons from infobar just fine. the only thing you need to change is the skin file to add a picon

    Code:
    <widget source="session.CurrentService" render="Picon" position="0,0" size="110,40" >
        <convert type="ServiceName">Reference</convert>
    </widget>

    the picons are way to small unless you sit 10cm from your box.. the whole display is filled with small stuff that is hardly visible from a distance.

    bigger icons are needed if you want too see them from the usual sitting distance of 3-4mtrs away.

    Personally, cant see the need for picons, my Ultimo is on default and the info I need is there. How often do you actually look at the VFD, i would hazard a guess less than half a dozen ime if even that.
