    Softcam issues

    Hi having installed various softcams via the package installer nothing comes up in the sotcam section of the sub menus so I am unable to activate is this a common problem or just something im doing wrong?

    Any help appreciated

    Not a common problem, where are you downloading the softcams from?

    Hi Judge just googled and found on file sharing site I have tried several to no avail. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a link to softcam on this forum.

    FTP it to the TMP folder on the box and than blue button>vix>install local extension

    what file??

    if its an ipk file, you need to ftp it to "temp"
    then go blue button, man install
    Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100
    1.2 channel master/quad feedhorn/36volt /vbox
    1 fixed dish, and 1 motorized 1mtr dish
    and a pile of redundant cards/cams

    FTP it to the /tmp folder or /var/volatile/tmp

    then press blue button / vix / install local extension.
    once installed FTP your configuration files to /etc.
    then blue button / softcam manager / green to start and blue to set auto start.
