ok thanks very much for your help.

I will format the usb to fat32, then copy over the bootloader by copying over the vu plus folder from the above download, and then flash the boxx, then delete everything off the usb and place the vuplus folder containing vix v3 from the image provided previously.

I take it there will be relevant promts to indicate that the bootloader and also the image process is finished.

Sorry about the frustration, i am new to this.

    Thanks.

    Rgds,
yes thats pretty much all you need to do, if every thing goes correctly you will see the various prompts on the receivers display and eventually a message telling you to remove the stick and reboot the receiver.

as for being frustrated dont worry about it, thats what were here for. just follow the instructions and you will be fine.

also make sure that no other USB devices are connected to the receiver while flashing either the image or the bootloader.

Ok thanks for your help guys.

I think i have got it. I will perform the following steps:

    1. format the usb to fat32
    2. place the contents of the bootloader download ( duo_cfe_3_0_usb.zip) to the root of the usb and flash the bootloader.
    3. Once done, delete the bootlaoder data from the usb and place the vix image and flash the vix image.

Sorry about the frustration, just new to this.

    Thanks very much.
