May seem a Stupid suggestion.. But....

    Hi guys..

This is sorta aimed at the mods and admin..

I know this may seem a stupid suggestion.. But i think there are alot of the members that are not seeing the new image release that was released on Saturday evening.. ( 28-01-12 )

The 204 update was added to the sticky thread called.. :

Vu Duo ViX 2.3 (Linux 3.1.1) Image Release's

I think the members dont even know about it.. as everyone still trying to flash build 153 image.. as reading on the forum..

Just a suggest.. Im prolly totally wrong... lmao

as this was just another update in the existing 2.3 series images, there was not much fuss made about the release. a small addition was made to all release threads.
I agree however that the release maybe could have been a bit more prominent especially in light of those users having problems with the 190 build images in the 2.3 series.

Hi Pheonix.. I totally understand what your saying..

With all the other previous image updates.. This one with 2.3 was massive imho.. due to bootloader issues and things..

204 seems to have cured alot of problems for members.. and dosent seem to be widely known that the release is even available..

But yeah.. I totally see your point..

    Cheers

At least you understand the work that goes on behind the scenes.
I just wish others would appreciate just how much work goes into every single image build, as the name suggests were currently at over 200 builds in the 2.3 image series ( not just for one box either, for every single box we support ) and that means flashing and testing every single build not to mention all the work andy does his end,. some people think we just sit here and release when we feel like it. like we just wake up one morning and think hey i know today we'll release a new build, i only wish it was the simple.

any hoo thats my semi rant over. i'm glad 204 seems to have resolved a lot of peoples issues and we do appreciate all feedback good or bad.

Bad feedback is not deserved.. even for the worst image builds.. ( worst being not my cup of tea.. Not worst as in total crap.. ) lmao

These guys give up there valued time to keep everyone happy..

Sometimes people just need to sit back and take a deep breathe.. and have a think about what work others have done for free for them..

very true. just look at andy this is almost like a full time job for him and totally unpaid too. granted we occasionally get a receiver for testing purposes but with work and testing my self i rarely even get time to watch tv.
