    Very noisy fan

    Is the fan soposed to be so intrusive. This is a brand new box. but the noise is very iritating.

    Its becuase they are small and compact and the fan is very small. They're designed to be stored behind a TV and out of sight, thats why they come with the Infra-red sensor so the receiver is tucked out of the way

    A great design upgrade for a version II of this box would be to remove the fan and get rid of the heat in other ways......something like an Acer Aspire REVO nettop.......it has a very small form factor and runs almost silent.

    Also, the IR extender light could be used to land planes........

    But hey, I'm a fan of this little box

    I've had the box for about 8 months now and the fan has got loader and loader, so tempted to open it up and give it a good blow.....
