Finally Got there after 5 Years

    Hello All,

After 5 or so years, I finally took the plunge and got the dish installed, 1m motorised and got my box today (21st October 2011) ......

Any takers on how long it will actually take me to understand AND get this all set up now?

Hopefully see you around in the forum or chat trying to look for answers to maybe the most dumbest questions .....

    Have a Great Weekend .....

thats a long time sitting on the fence, but your in the water now,
like all things, at first it looks difficult, but the basis are fairly simple
ask your questions, and dont worry about "daft" questions
    Units; VU+Ultimo/duo/DM800/7020HD/tm9100

Thank you all everyone for the very warm welcome.

I last dabbled in the 'world of satellites' (excuse the pun!) about 20 years ago. Had an echostar receiver and a 1.2 channelmaster dish. The bees knees of the day.

Kids came along and my toys stopped. I kept thinking I will get it all set up at the new house when I moved 14 odd years ago.

I got 'lent' an eagle box about 6 months back, pulled all the flooring up along with most of the house but problems with that so gave up now finally got a new box and finally its all go!
