I stream movies from my pc to my Duo, and have found that MKV files play the best.So I had to find software that could convert files to MKV format.I found this software which is really quick at conversion.Unfortunately it doesn`t convert avi files,only vobs and assorted video files.I first convert avi files using convertxtodvd.Then I use MakeMKV to convert the vobs to MKV.It sounds a bit of an effort,but it`s still a hell of a lot quicker than using some of the programmes I was using.Some were taking 4 hours.With this proggy I have a MKV file in around 30 minutes.
Of course if anyone knows of a proggy that will convert avi to MKV,I would appreciate a heads up.
