    How to load Picons to Dreambox 800se

    Hi Guys,

    How do i load picons to dreambox 800se through Flashfxp ?

    Pioneer 50 inch Kuro tv
    Onkyo 906 amp with B&W MT-30 speakers with B&W PV-1 sub.
    Vu duo, dreambox 800se and ET9000 stb.
    Xtreamer prodigy media player with 4TB Wd black Caviar hdd.Abigs D7 media player 2tb Wd hdd. 6tb of HD movies and counting

    i just drag and drop them on to my pendrive and use them from there in a folder called picon
    All PM,s asking about c/s on cable will be ignored and reported to forum staff!

    yes you can but the hdd will spin up every time you change channel to pull the picon for the new channel

    just log into box and send picons over to hdd into folder picon

    just put them on media/hdd/picon but i guarantee you when in a quiet room the continuous noise of a HDD spinning up will eventually drive you nuts.

    I only have tv in room all av equipment is in room 20 meters away.

    yes very good point. a continuous spinning HDD will cause massive heat build up in the receiver and that can drastically shorten it's life if not vented properly.
