Please could all members use the code tag on ALL EXTERNAL LINKS. This then stops the link being live and clickable. The link can then be copied and pasted into your browser address bar.
All that needs to be done is to highlight the link in your post then select the code tag from the section above when you reply or create a new topic or post (not quick reply). This is the code tag that looks like this # The hash symbol.
The link will then appear as follows:
This places [/code] at the end of the link and [code] at the beginning (if you were to do it manually.)Code:http://www.google.co.uk/
Then the link is not live.
This is much better than using h**P or using a space such as h ttp
