Miniature Android 4.0 PC goes on sale.
Chinese retailers have started to list a miniature Android 4.0 computer for $74 a pop. Inside the plastic case - slightly larger than a USB thumb drive - is an AllWinner A10 single-core 1.5GHz ARM CPU, 512MB of RAM and a Mali 400 GPU.

It has a female HDMI port for connecting to a HDTV, and can output in 1080p. It has 4GB of flash storage and will take a microSD card up to 32GB in capacity. It has WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity built-in, and can connect with a 2.4G wireless keyboard + fly mouse. It also has a USB 2.0/OTG port and USB 2.0 Host port.

ARM-based Linux platforms can be booted from microSD. It does not appear to be USB powered.

Similar micro-computers have been showing up in recent years. The FXI Tech Cotton Candy will start shipping next month. It plugs directly into a HDMI port of a TV, has a dual-core processor and double the RAM. It will sell for $79.

Interesting in buying? Check here

Hello everyone,

I've got a 9-input Triax multiswitch to which I have connected my fixed Sky dish and terrestial TV aerial. I am getting SKy and Freeview on all outputs, but I now want to connect another dish to the second input. This dish will be motorised.

I understand that I cannot control the rotator from every receiver, but have been advised that I can connect one of the outputs from the multiswitch (probably the one for my primary receiver) to the rotator's input, and connect the rotator's output to my receiver. This should allow me to control move the dish from my main receiver.

I have three questions:

a) How would this affect the other receivers? For example, if I moved the motorised dish from the Italian TV satellite to the German TV satellite, would the other receivers in the house automatically find the German channels, or would they still be searching for the Italian channels?

b) I was wondering if anybody knows of a plugin or piece of software that would run on Linux-based receivers that would allow you control the rotator connected to another receiver. For example, if all my receivers are connected to my home network via ethernet/wi-fi, I would put in the IP address of my main receiver and be able to control the rotator. I have searched but can't find any such software.

c) Does anybody know of a positioner (V Box or whatever) that connects to your home network and can be controlled via a web browser?

I know the latest LG can handle html5 and adobe flash but without having one in front of me i have no way of knowing, so i would be interested to know if any one on here has experimented with one.

Skin Gotham HDv1.4 per VU+ Uno-Duo-Ultimo con Immagini BlackHole v1.7.4

README PLEASE !!!

I have to make some details, the correct use of the skin and the image so as not to compromise the graphics by default, in case you have no such intention.

As you know, the prerogative of this image is in the possibility to manage different environments (which we call universes, as WILL of the team) work, with the names listed
Chaos, Avalon and Ghost, in addition to the universe by default (the image in flash) called blackhole universe.

From what I read around, not everyone has clarified the concept that, for example, any object, (epg picon plugin or whatever) is installed in the universe 'black hole,
is available by default to all universes connected to it (chaos avalon ghost).

For this reason, it should be explained that by installing the full Gotham 1.4 skin in the black hole universe, this will replace original bootlogo of all universes,
no more have the original bootlogos representing the planets, they are replaced from the panels installed by Gotham skin.

For this reason, i decided to create different packages for each of the choices the user decides to make

pacchet full : mmkGothamHD1.4_full_bh.tgz
Contains bootlogos, installing this package blackhole in the universe will not have the possibility to recover more bootlogos the original will be replaced by those present in the skin eXcort

pacchet Lite mmkGothamHD1.4_lite_bh.tgz
Not contain the panels of bootlogos, can be safely installed in the blackhole universe, none of the default skin will be replaced or modified

Pachet bootlogos : mmk_gotham_1.4_bh174_bootlogos
Install only the 4 panels to replace existing ones, the changes are final and original panels will not be restored (unless they proceed manually their replacement)

As soon as written, is valid ONLY if you work in the blackhole universe, and is also clear that is not contraindication if the universe
Active is a chaos, avalon or ghost, because any change to one or more of these universes has no effect on the upper level.

A thief stole the handbag of a hit-and-run victim as her decapitated body lay in the road, a court heard yesterday.
Marc Kirvin, 46, picked up the bag, which contained £1,600 in cash, minutes after grandmother Sawari Ashraf, 62, was hit by a lorry.
The impact propelled Mrs Ashraf’s bag 400ft from her body and Kirvin claimed he did not know an accident had occurred.
He told police he was looking for work that day and had taken the money ‘because of greed’.
His arrest came after CCTV pictures were published of the theft – during which he also took the dead woman’s shoes – on March 29 in Longsight, Manchester.
The grisly nature of the incident also led to ghoulish onlookers taking sick pictures of the scene and posting them on the internet.
Jennifer Baines, prosecuting, said she accepted it was plausible that Kirvin, who was travelling in a different lorry, may not have been aware of the crash as there had been little reaction by motorists in that area and there had been no obvious debris.
She added: ‘The most aggravating feature in this case is because he took the handbag, police had no identification and the lady’s family weren’t aware for two days that their mother and their grandmother had been taken from them.’
