Hi guys.
I was previously using a dreambox 800 with an e-sata drive of 1.5tb, and with the dm800, the only way to have e-sata working was to remove the internal sata cable and plug the adapter e-sata into the sata cable, to allow an e-sata to connect.
However, I noticed with the vu duo, that the sata connector and the e-sata connectors are two totally different connectors. So, I was wondering whether it was possible to connect both up together at the same time to get even more hdd space if I so wanted?!
Also, has anyone used the e-sata in the vu duo?! Is it a proper e-sata connector like you'd have in windows (i.e. allow you to plug in and unplug the drive any time you want whilst using the box?! As I could see this as being quite useful for transferring files across quickly to the box...
Many thanks in advance
