View Full Version : Transcend 16gb memory stick record?

I am trying to record on to my 16gb Transcend memory stick without luck. I have fat32 in computer then mounted in solo to both hdd & usb but still won't record. Help required please.

When mounted as HDD did you format it?

ive got one set in the solo as usb. created a folder called movie in root of usb and pointed the recording paths in setup/system/recording paths to point at that directory on usb and it works fine

Might also be because it's fat, not ext ...

I left mine on fat32 still works. Although give it a format through the device manager and see if that helps

Ok, lol.

Reason I wondered if could be fat being the prob, was cus hd recordings over 1 hour often go bigger than 4gb ... the size limit for fat :lol3:

thats not a bad shout u know, i havent tried a 1 hour recording on the solo lol well i better do it in ext then :p

Sorry for the late reply been away working, when you say '' in root of USB'' what do you mean by this?

root of usb means root of drive

eg in no folders just on usb

so plug in usb with nothing on it and just create the folder there

thats called root
