Password

I tried to update my vu+solo bow'ks today and ive forgoten my password for box. I can access my box through my local network and find the passed file but when i open it its all fonts/text in a work file. Is there another way to access or change the password without a reflash. I remember i had this problem with a dm800 and used the plugin tuxbox to change the pass. Would this work the same.

No harm in trying I guess,have you backed up your settings via an external hd etc if you have and and you can not get your password you could always reflash and restore you settings and go from there
