hi new to the solo is there anyway of getting the movies i recorded on ext.hdd .to use/modify on the pc..or how to get them in windows format as windows cant see the hdd..emulator ect thanks in advance annie

The hdd is formatted in ext2 or ext3 (depending on which was chosen by the box or yourself). So, what you will need to do, is to either ftp the file across to your pc from the solo, or to use some software that can read linux formatted hdd's in windows...
