Before I want to buy a Vu+ Solo I want to know if it support 1080p

In the manual it says only 1080i and not 1080p.
But other topics using google say 1080p support.

So now i'm confused, and want to know if it does support it or not.

Thanks

And it will be hard to find a 1080p receiver, if it is possible at all....

I don't think currently that any channel transmits in 1080p in Europe

Ow, I din't know that. I thought 1080p was the next thing.
So in other words I don't have to buy a 1080p receiver and can buy the Vu+ solo ;)

The bandwidth is to great for 1080p, many broadcasters broadcast 720p and some broadcast in 1080i. I personally have never seen a 1080p channel on any satellite.

Both the blade Bm7000s and the TM5402HD + other non linux receivers have CCcam support as client only.

when i had the blade Bm7000, I tried to force into 1080p and it cause picture to have lots of sparklies

tv is samsung 50" 1080p

it was just trying to upscale though so not true 1080p

Thats the thing, all receivers will end up upscaling to 1080p, imo 1080i is best setting.

can i just add guys p and i

p is progressive and

i is interlased

meaning the 1080 lines you get for both but the difference is

p is progresion so a full image is flashed infront of you at lightning speed

i is iteraced or interlocked so you get alf and half a picture being flashed turn by turn in lightning speed in small strips

yes p is better as if you get a glitch you wont see jail bars as i call it n the screen but in all respect 1080 is wht you want and both give it

AzBox HD is the best 1080p and also media player for everything. Best picture, and cccam via OpenCas.

Just a pity that AzBox HD support in the past has been terrible but it does seem to be on the up at the moment

If you were getting sparkles on 1080p it is likely your hdmi cable is at fault as 1080p uses more bandwidth and hdmi interference is sparkles in the image (like old analogue sat interference)

is there any possibility in future if we have many full hd channel vu+solo upgrade to 1080P by software or as hardware concern it is impossible for it?

the solo and duo are hardware limited to 1080i there is nothing that can be done about it

sorry
