Hi all, great site. just got a quick queston which will savew me a load of ear ache later from the wife.

i have been doing some reaserch on the epg for the duo but cannot afford one ATM but was wondering if the same epg is compatible with the solo? also can anyone post some screen shots of some epg's (if there is more than one to choose from)

the duo and solo are the same just different in minor aspects

its like buying a vw polo instead of a vw golf


vix has its own epg base

the providers are satmate, ryvix[rytec], crossepg, xmltv

there is also cooltv epg base that can be downloaded

thanks silverfox, any ideas which one will get me closest to the s*y epg cos that's what i will need to have a peacefull life.

they all give you the correct epg

rytec uses a xml updated often and cross uses the actual sat to download the data

with regards to setting channel numbers up that way you need a bouquet and at the moment m16mcc or mine silverfox0786 settings give you the channel numberings

mine being made specially for the vix image duo/solo but work on any box

thanks sicilian, the vix epg is just what i'm after.vu+ solo here i come.
