Greek telecommunications operator OTE has started using a third transponder on the satellite Eurobird 9 (9 E) . There are test transmissions, including channels in high definition. The transponder operates in the DVB-S2. OTE will use the new capacity for the launch of its satellite platform, Conn-X satellite TV . The new multiplex DVB-S2 operates at a frequency of 12.226 GHz, pol. V and includes the HD test, as well as several SD programs in MPEG-4: Hustler TV, Dorcel TV, Mad Hits.

All channels are encrypted in Videoguard . The multiplex will also probably: Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Nat Geo Wild, MTV Music, Al Jazeera Arabic Live HD and MTV, which already have prepared a place there (without the PIDs of video and audio.) Specifications: Eurobird 9 (9 E) 12.226 GHz, pol. V, SR 27500, FEC 2 / 3, DVB-S2/8PSK Encoding: NDS VideoGuard multiplex parameters and tested the contents may still change.
